Mud Volcano & Pink sea:
$90 USD per person.
This is another tour where Afrocolombian culture is depicted.
We include our black culture in every tour we offer in all forms and expressions.
First of all, on the way to the Mud Volcano, we'll visit the Afrocolombian village called "Lomita Arena" where we will learn about the people, their way of living, the fishing in the small lake where they do catch their food and where they take water for domestic use.
We also learn how the town is in the middle of the lake and the ocean but still struggles to survive. Then, we head to the Mud Volcano, take a bath in the natural volcano which is around 40 minutes away from the city. This volcano has medicinal components that work on your body making you skin soft as a baby's. This volcano is called "the fountain of youth". On the way back, we stop at the AfroColombian village called "Tierra Baja", where we learn about AfroColombian art, how cultural expressions and cosmovision of the BlackColombians is depicted in art and hand-made crafts.
At the moment of lunch, we stop at another AfroColombian village called "La Boquilla" where we have the most delicious fried fish.
